Q. How do I find the Field-weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) of a publication?

You can use Scopus to obtain the article-level FWCI. FWCI is only available for publications indexed in Scopus from 1996.

It is calculated by comparing the citations received by a publication against other similar publications over a 4 year period. 

Similar publications are determined by publication year, publication type, and subject area.
