Q. When should I restrict access to my data?

Some of the reasons for restricting access to your data:

• Your data include sensitive information 
• Your data are governed by a confidentiality agreement
• You intend to submit a patent application or there is a potential to generate revenue from your research
• Parts of your data are owned by others

If your data belong to one or more of the categories above, please deposit in the Research Data Archive (Restricted).
