Q. Is ORCID just for articles?

No. You can import or manually enter citations for all kinds of research, including articles, books, book chapters, monographs, technical reports, theses, dissertations, datasets, learning objects, conference papers, presentations, and grant proposals. You may refer to the full list of work types supported by ORCID.
